Application

  1. As a bonding agent for adhesive restoration
    1. Etch the desired enamel surfaces and pre-treat any exposed dentin surfaces with Syntac Adhesive or a suitable base material.
    2. Apply Heliobond in a thin layer to the etched enamel surface using a brush or a ball instrument.
    3. By blowing with the air stream, an optimal, thin layer can be achieved.
    4. Heliobond should not be cured separately in conjunction with light-curing luting composites. For direct fillings of restorations, Heliobond must be cured beforehand: exposure time of 10 seconds with a polymerization lamp of 500 to 1100 mW/cm 2 .
    5. Inserting the composite.
    6. Curing of the composite.
    7. Working out the filling.
  2. Transparent sealing of fissures and pits
    1. Etch the desired enamel surfaces.
    2. Apply Heliobond into the fissures using suitable instruments or brushes without creating any bubbles and wait for approx. 15 seconds so that the material can penetrate.
    3. Cure with light for 20 seconds using a polymerization lamp of 500 to 1100 mW/cm 2 .
    4. After curing, dab off the inhibited layer. Check the occlusion and grind down any excess.
  3. Preparation of plastic repairs
    1. Roughen smooth plastic surfaces.
    2. If necessary, use Monobond Plus.
    3. Apply Heliobond thinly (if necessary, blow off with an air stream).
    4. Cure H eliobond : Exposure time of 10 seconds with a polymerization lamp of 500 and 1100 mW/cm 2 .
