Description
The WHO probe stands out from other periodontal probes in that it has a spherical end with a diameter of 0.5 mm, thus preventing injury to the sulcus. It also has a measuring scale of 3.5 - 5.5 - 8.5 - 11.5. In the range of 3.5 - 5.5, the WHO probe is marked in black throughout to make the area of pathological probing depth - for example when determining the PSI - easier to recognize. It is therefore a must for every PA treatment.
