Description
Gracey curettes can be used to remove hard and soft deposits from all tooth surfaces. The different shaft designs are designed for different tooth surfaces. When using them, make sure that the lower sharp edge of the facial surface is directly on the root surface. The first shaft should be parallel to the tooth axis. You can therefore remember that the upper edge of the facial surface, which slopes at 70°, is blunt and the lower edge is sharp.
