Description
Here you will find the classic periodontal probe. It is known by several common names: e.g. PCP15, PCPUNC15, #UNC15 or "millimeter probe".
The PCP15 has a marked millimeter measuring scale from 1 mm-15 mm (1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15). The markings 4 mm-5 mm, 9 mm-10 mm and 14 mm-15 mm are colored through. This allows you to measure your patient's pocket depths with millimeter precision. This probe is extremely important, for example, when collecting a PA status.
What is special about this PCP15 probe from HuFriedy is that the markings are precisely applied and smoothed. You cannot feel any raised areas from the markings. This allows for very atraumatic probing.
