There is currently no dental unit on the market that combines suction, blower and water cooling well and does not require a compressed air connection. No, the tooth will not turn black if you prepare it as usual. The contra-angle handpieces have a maximum rotation speed of 35,000 rpm. This means that the heat generated is not as great as with high-speed handpieces. To prevent overheating, we recommend taking regular breaks during preparation. If the teeth become discolored, you should apply less pressure and reduce the number of revolutions per minute on the micromotor.
